Verle “Buzz” Lee Manley, Jr. of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the age of 64 years and 28 days. He was born June 15, 1952 in Portland, Oregon to Verle Lee Manley, Sr. and Nancy Jane Wolfinbarger Manley. On June 6, 1987 in Peverly, Missouri he was united in marriage to Geraldine Elaine Green and to this union four children were born.

“Buzz” served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1974. He was employed at Chrysler in St. Louis and retired after thirty-one years. He was a member of the Local #136. “Buzz” was raised in the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing and loved all of the hours he spent with his horses, raising, breeding and riding. He was always know as “Cowboy.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Anita Petti; and brother-in-law, Frank Nixon.

“Buzz” is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Geraldine Manley of Cherryville, MO; one son, Jonathan Matthew Manley and wife Michelle of Barnhart, MO; three daughters, Michelle Fleetwood of Arnold, MO, April Weis and husband Tim of High Ridge, MO and Angel Manley of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Rev. Dennis “Mike” Manley and wife Patty of Quitman, TX; five sisters, Paula Barnes and husband Mike, Patricia Nixon all of Barnhart, MO, Nina and husband Marvin of AR, Lonnie Madar and husband Brian of AR and Ruby Lake and husband Keith of Russellville, MO
