Ulrich J. Dembowski of Denton, MD, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in the Memorial Hospital (UMSMC) at Easton, MD. He was 78 years old.
Born in Berlin, Germany on November 8, 1938, Mr. Dembowski was the son of the late Paul Ernst and Elisabeth Gallinis Dembowski. His wife, Suzanne Orme Dembowski, died September 1, 2012.
Mr. Dembowski was a printer for the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. He was also a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston, MD.
Mr. Dembowski is survived by several cousins: Winfried Mauroschat of Berlin, Germany and Karl Rogge of Charlestown, WVA; two nieces and a nephew, Martha Pate Godfrey (Tom) of Denton, Laura Willis of Daphne, AL, and Sam Pate, Jr. (Dana) of Denton; nine great nieces and nephews: Martha Emily Ebling, Thomas Hodges Colton III, Adam Stevens Willis, Hannah Louise Willis, Madison Hall Willis, Savannah Blou Pate, Mason Sharkey Pate, Cori Elaine Bennington, and Talia Brooke Hedley. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Martha Jane Pearsall, Linda (Sunday) Fellows, and Joseph N. Pearsall III.
