Treveline C. “Trev” Nelson, age 91 of Hibbing passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the Hillcrest Alice Residence in Hibbing. She was born in Woonsocket, South Dakota on March 9, 1918, the daughter of Lawrence and Hattie (DuBois) Morin. Trev graduated from Woonsocket High School and married Alfred Gervais in Sandstone, MN. They had two children Robert and Judith. He preceded her in death. She married Tony Mehle in Hibbing and he preceded her in death. She then married Leland Nelson and he preceded her in death. Trev worked at Central Laundry in Hibbing for many years prior to her retirement.
Trev loved to camp, fish, travel and knit. She knitted and gave away hundreds of jackets, sweaters and afghans. But as much as she loved these hobbies, she loved her family more.
Trev is survived by her children: Robert L. (Betty) Gervais of Casper, WY and Judith A. (Bill) Riggles of Saratoga, WY; stepsons: Dennis (Joann) Mehle of Hibbing, Brad (Kris) Nelson of Minneapolis, Greg (Judy) Nelson of Forest Lake; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight step grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouses; grandson: Richard Riggles; three sisters and three brothers.
