Thomas “Tommy” Gleason of Monrovia, MD, 61, went peacefully into eternity on Wednesday, November 7, 2108 at his home. Born September 19, 1957 in Cheverly, MD he was the son of the late Joe and Alice Walker Gleason. He was preceded in death by an older brother, John and his beloved St. Bernard, Josie.
Tommy is survived by his bestest girl, Pam Rollins whom he shared the last 12 years of his life; by his daughter Gena Gleason-Alberts and husband Tony and his son Duane Gleason and wife Heather. He was blessed to have met his two beautiful granddaughters, Madelyn and Bella. He is also survived by his Aunt Lorraine Walker, his brothers Jimmy and Danny, numerous nieces and nephews and his Golden Retriever, Ruby.
Tommy was an old school plumbing/HVAC guy who learned to grow with the times and was not only an excellent mechanic, he was a respected superintendent and later excelled in the estimating department. He enjoyed a 20+ year career at Shapiro & Duncan.
Tommy loved his Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching them win the 2018 World Series! What a send-off into Glory for a Sox fan!
