Tom served in the United States Army Air Corps 143rd AAA Gun Battalion from 1943 to 1946. Tom married Lourice Berbari on March 14, 1952. Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lourice; children, Laura Christison, Jeanette (Gary) Bailey-Hoffmaster, Katie (Phil) Maynard, Michelle (Dave) Latondress, Martha Bailey, David (Christa) Bailey, and Jon (Rebekah) Bailey; 27 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Miles (Lila) Bailey.
