Thomas D. Phillips, 94, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Hoopers Island on August 26, 1919 and was a son of the late Elbert D. and Velma Brannock Phillips
He attended schools in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1936. On August 23, 1941, he was married to the former Lula May Hurley. During WW II he served in the US Army and served in England and France. As a young man he was a member of the American Legion Drum & Bugle Corps.
