TAUNTON – Thomas Ernest Centofanti, husband of Susan (Drewniany) Centofanti of Taunton and the late Mary Ann (Beaulieu) Centofanti, died at Morton Hospital on Dec. 29, 2015.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late Falco and Josephine M. (Pacella) Centofanti.
Raised in Cambridge, Tom was a graduate of Cambridge High School.
He moved to the Taunton area in 1974. Tom worked as a maintenance man for Bridgewater State College and Fernand State School for many years before retiring many years ago.
A communicant of St. Mary Church in Taunton, he was a member of the Italian Social Club, The Polish American Civic Club, the Association of Basketball Officials and the Sons of Italy.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a brother, Alphonse J. Centofanti of Waltham, MA; a sister, Emma Chase of Cambridge, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Ralph G. Centofanti and Melina Lohnes.
Graveside Services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 East Britannia St., St. Mark Section, on Monday, Jan. 11th at 12 noon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472.
