RAYNHAM – Theresa Marie (Cote) Mello, wife of the late Herbert Mello, died at Longmeadow of Taunton on Feb. 19, 2011.
She was 85.
Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Gagne) Cote.
Educated in Attleboro schools, she moved to the Raynham area in 1960.
Mrs. Mello worked for several area Jewelry Companies, but was primarily a homemaker for most of her adult life.
During WW II, she was her neighborhood’s air raid warden.
She enjoyed dancing and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lee Peters and her husband Robert of Raynham; three grandchildren, Shane Prescott of Taunton, and Shannon and Samantha Prescott, both of Raynham; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd at 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
