Obituary for Terry "Ronnie" Ronald Thomas

Terry Ronald “Ronnie” Thomas, age 75, of Gautier passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June, 19, 2021.  He was born October 7, 1946 in Pascagoula to Harold Andrew Thomas and Flora Mae Shaw Thomas.  Ronnie graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1966 and remained a life long resident of Gautier.  In March of this year, he retired after 53 years at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a LBTF Facilities Supervisor in the Warehouse.  Ronnie was a life long member of First Baptist Church in Gautier and devoted his time on the Kitchen Committee and Grounds Committee.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing, yard work, avid Saints & Alabama Fan, and baking especially sweets like his fudge. He volunteered with the Dixie League Girls Softball in Gautier as a coach and umpire for many years. Ronnie will be remembered for his quiet spirit but kindest soul and devoted love for his family and others.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ron Christopher “Chris” Hudnall; sister, Marion White; brother, Calvin George Thomas.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jennifer Joyner Thomas; Gautier; two daughters and one son, Courtney Shaw Barlow (Jason), South East Asia; Kelly Hudnall Glaskox,(Rob), Hurley; Jay Edward Hudnall (Alicia), Sumrall; twin brother, Jerry Donald “Donnie” Thomas, Gautier; sister, Gaynell Thomas Atkinson, Gautier; nine grandchildren, Ashley Laird (Kyle), Logan Hudnall (Alley), Brooklyn Glaskox, Chase Glaskox, Jackson Hudnall, Charlie Hudnall, Anna Morgan Hudnall, Micah and Maya Barlow;  two great grandchildren, Eva Jean Hudnall, Lee Thomas Laird, and one great grandson expected in October.
