Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Janice in 2003; brothers, Robert and Rick Thelen; sisters, Yvonne and Jeanne. Surviving are his children, Candace (Dean) Smith of Gillette, WY, Ted Thelen of Madison, WI, and Robert (Melissa) Thelen of Lansing; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Kenady, Kara, and “Grandpa’s Little Monster” Deagan; siblings, Theresa Farley, George (Stella) Thelen, Don (Marilyn) Thelen, Ron Thelen, Marlene (Don) White, Terry (Julie) Thelen, Gerry Thelen, and Michelle Eisler; friend, Wendy Fox; mother and father-in-law, Lois and George Miller; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
