Sylvia Irene Lunsford, 73, of Steelville, MO passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 at her home. She was born December 10, 1934 in Shannon County, MO to Oskin and Ellen (Watson) Ferguson. On January 31, 1952 she was married in Salem, MO to Norman Lunsford who survives of the home.
Sylvia will be sadly missed by her husband, Norman; one son, Dale Lunsford and wife Beverly; two daughters, Carolyn Davis and husband Mike and Ranae Harmon and husband Danny all of Steelville, MO; daughter-in-law, Cheri Lunsford of Moberly, MO; two sisters, Mayo Busby of Jefferson City, MO and Della Williams of Renick, MO; two sisters-in-law, Velma Ferguson of Salem, MO and Betty Ferguson of Yates, MO; two brothers-in-law, Ray Lunsford and wife Anna Mae of Steelville, MO and Don Lunsford and wife Aileen of Boss, MO; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael Lunsford, five brothers, Cordell, Arthur, Darl, Harold and Harley Ferguson; two brothers-in-law, Raney and Raymond Lunsford; one grandson, Dale Lunsford Jr.; and two great-grandchildren.
Sylvia attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church at Cherryville and the Assembly of God Church in Steelville.
In her spare time and when health permitted, she loved to crochet and go camping with her family. She dearly loved being with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
