Steven “Steve” Michael Felty, age 53, a lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at home. He was born June 21, 1956 in Hibbing, the son of James and Marcia (Krause) Felty. He was a graduate of Hibbing High School.
He had been employed at Minnesota Twist Drill, The Irongate Mall, and Northern Castings in Hibbing; and was also an Animal Protection Officer in Wyoming.
Steve is survived by his mother: Marcia Felty; brothers: James, Jr. “Jim” Felty of Hibbing and Mark Felty of Chicago, IL; his children: Justin and Kevin Felty of Hibbing, Jason and Jennifer Felty of Casper, WY; step-children: Brandy and James Bardgett of Casper, WY; aunt: Joan Danculovich of Chisholm, MN; uncles: John Krause and Jerry Krause of Minneapolis, MN.
He was preceded in death by his father James, Sr. in 2002.
