Steven B. “Boom” Davis, age 57, of Gautier passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. He was born October 9, 1960 in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Holtville High School in Holtville, AL. Steven was U.S. Air Force Veteran retiring as Master Sergeant. He worked for several shipbuilding industries as a welder. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Davis; daughter-in-law, Amanda Tanner.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Pamela Fitzhugh Davis, Gautier; mother, Jorene Davis, sister, Cheryl D. Thomas (Darrell), brother, Charles R. “Chuck” Davis, Jr., (Lisa), all of Elmore, AL; two nephews, Albert A. “Trey” Shanks, III and Charles A. Shanks (Elizabeth); 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew; Father and mother-in-law, Randy and Blanche Moye, Ocean Springs; two sons and two daughters, David Tanner, Gautier; Amber Jones, Mt. Airey, NC; Tawny Fitzhugh, Monroe, GA; and Zackary Fitzhugh, Tallassee, AL; 8 grandchildren.
