Steven Anthony Schaffer, 62, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his home.
Born July 30, 1951 in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of the late Andrew and Filomena Apuzzo Schaffer. He was the husband of Kathryn Schaffer. They had been married for 41 years.
He worked for the NRC in the research dept. He received his doctorate in Environmental Medicine from New York University. He was a former member of the Freedom District Lions Club and a current member of HAPHS.
