Stephan Krongard, age 34 of Scandia, born October 26, 1984 in Stillwater, MN to William and Stephanie Krongard, died September 6, 2019 in Ham Lake, MN. Stephan attended Forest Lake High School. He was a carpenter and a part of the carpenter’s union. Stephan was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, building and riding bikes was his passion. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a kind and generous man, giving of his time and skills, offering help to any that needed or requested it. Growing up, he excelled in sports especially hockey, and enjoyed life on the St. Croix River with his brothers, cousins, and friends aboard his grandparent’s boats “Buck’s Baby and Buck’s Baby II,” where he learned to fish, swim and build camp fires. Stephan was preceded in death by his grandparents Dale Sr. and Loreda Krongard and George and Rosella Messetler. He is survived by his pride and joys, son Alder Rayne Knutsen and daughter Rae-Lynn May Krongard. He is also survived by parents William and Stephanie; as well as brothers Barrett and Nicholas; nephews Rex, Dallan, Blaze and nieces Amiah, Piper; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
