Obituary
Stanley “Skip” Thruman Yount passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 70. He was the beloved husband Sharon Yount nee Deatherage of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Will Yount of Denver, CO; two daughters, Emily Yount of Patton, MO, Elisabeth (Thomas) Hayer of Little Rock, AR; two step-daughters, Chris (Andy) Steimel of O’Fallon, MO, Katie Blyzes of St. Peters, MO; brother, Ed (Melody) Roebuck of St. Peters, MO; two sisters, Mary (Michael) Jarrell of Town and Country, MO, Barb (Phillip) Sanders of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren, Sami, Abby, Abi, Collin, Willy, Logan, Gabriel, Elijah; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Jase; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur William Yount, mother, Velma Yount nee Zweifel. Stanley attended Missouri School of Mines in Rolla, Missouri earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked and retired from General Motors. Stanley loved fishing, hunting, boating, and his dogs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
