Stanley Ronald Berry, 62, of Steelville, MO passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Gibbs Care Center. He was born February 12, 1949 in St. Louis, MO to Carl and Maxine (Duncan) Berry. On September 13, 1975 at the Presbyterian Church in Steelville, he was united in marriage to Barbara Farrar and to this union one daughter was born.
Stanley graduated from Rolla High School and Southwest Baptist University. Before he became ill, he worked as a researcher for Communications for Research in Steelville. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Stanley loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and archery. He also enjoyed working with wood and cooking.
Stanley was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Berry of Steelville, MO; one daughter, Jennifer Berry of Stover, MO; his father, Carl Berry and wife Audrey of Houston, MO; one brother, Dennis Berry of Austin, TX; one step-brother, Jim Brown of Cabool, MO; one step-sister, Donna Kelley of Hartsville, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tena Slovensky and husband Ronnie, Tim Farrar and wife Sandy and Sandy Brinkley and husband Gene all of Steelville, MO, Alice Archuleta and husband Albert of Columbia, MO, Tammy Dean and husband Joe of Granite City, IL and Rainey Hutson of Cuba, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Berry; mother and father-in-law Raymond H. and Estella Farrar; and sister-in-law Gail Hutson.
