Stanley O. Tall, 86, of Trappe passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on May 8, 1936 and was a son of the late Herbert R. Tall, Sr. and Margaret Detamore Tall.
Mr. Tall graduated from Cambridge High School. He married the former Kaye Henry, and he would often refer to her as the prettiest girl in high school. Mr. Tall worked for BJ Linthicum as a parts manager. He was also a mechanic and had worked for SKS dealership. Mr. Tall enjoyed doing puzzles and loved eating banana creme pie. Mr. Tall owned a Buick convertible and when President Kennedy was campaigning for President, he had a campaign event schedule in Cambridge where they called Mr. Tall to use his convertible where his brother Buddy drove the President from Queen Anne to Cambridge. Mr. Tall gave to many charities and attended the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife Kaye Tall, three children Kim Betts of Hurlock, Frances Willey of Trappe and Leonard Tall of Arizona, three grandchildren Derek Edge and wife Heather, Darren Edge, and Brandon Willey, six great grandchildren McKenzie, Blaine, Colby, Kristen, Keith and Klynn, a brother Herbert Tall, Jr. and wife JoAnn of Cambridge, three nieces Teri Love, Donna Prahl and Ryan Foster.
