Stacy “Scooter” Ann Roper, 29, of New Truxton, MO and formerly of Steelville, MO, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at St. Johns Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born September 1, 1978 in Rolla, MO to Larry Lee Roper and Donna Ruth (Ogle) Roper.
She will be sadly missed and remembered by two sons, Austin James Roper of Havelock, NC, Seth Michael Webb of O’Fallon, MO and one daughter Kirsten Donna Webb of Steelville, MO, foster mom, Sue Canelos of New Truxton, MO, one brother, Scott Conaway and wife Jessica of Steelville, MO, one sister, Stephanie Miller and husband Dennis of O’Fallon, MO, and Grandmother’s Beulah Moline and Dovie Conaway of Steelville, MO and Ruth Ogle of Keysville, MO. She was preceeded in death by her parents Larry Roper and Donna Ruth (Ogle) Roper.
Stacy had worked as a nursing assistant in O’Fallon, MO. She loved camping, water skiing and snow skiing and was a collector of elephants. As an organ donor, Stacy touched the lives of possibly nine persons.
