Shirley L. Norberg, a talented home economist, passed away on July 5, 2013, at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Louis A. and Ethelyn J. Walstrom and sister of the late Louis A. Walstrom, Jr., all of Denver, Colorado. A longtime resident of Rockville, Maryland, she is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, James A. Norberg; three daughters and a son, Julie N. Barrows, Jamie L. Kaufmann (John), Eric A. Norberg (Cathy), and Jennifer S. McNaughton (R.J.); and nine grandchildren, Melissa and Joe Barrows, Jeff and Eric Kaufmann, Bridget, Heather, and Jim Norberg, and Michael and Scott McNaughton.
