Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was born on December 22, 1932 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Melvin and Lilly (Fisk) Peters. Shirley was a member of Shiloh Community Church, and worked as a merchandiser at Meijer. While her kids were growing up, she loved everything they were involved with. Shirley was a very loving and giving person, and she loved to share a hug. She married Harold Cousinaw on December 28, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents; sister-in-law, Betty Bieganowski. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Pauline) Cousinaw of Ionia, Steven (Debbie) Cousinaw of Ionia, and Thomas (Lou Ann) Cousinaw of Sheridan; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Melvin “Lanny” (Marcele) Peters, Jr. of Cottonwood, AZ; brother-in-law, Stanley Bieganowski of Capac, MI; 4 nephews.
