Shirley Ann Seymour

Age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born on November 14, 1925 in Ionia, the daughter of Lyle and Wilma (Laux) Houghton. Besides raising her six children, Shirley enjoyed bowling, golfing, a rousing game of hearts and many theater trips to New York. She was very proud of working for the Rationing Board during WWII. In her later years, she used her amazing skills working estate sales. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Leo E. Seymour, Jr.; twin brother Stuart Houghton; brother, Richard and Judy Houghton; sister-in-law, Marilyn Houghton. Surviving are children Tom (Sally) Seymour, Barbara (Alan) Hass, Dan (Judy) Seymour, Nancy Simard, Karen Seymour and MaryJane (Don) Fraker; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Houghton.
