Shirley Ann Odom, age 76, of Pascagoula passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016. She was born January 6, 1940 in Newton, MS and has been a resident of this area since 1947. She graduated from Pascagoula High School and on Valentine’s Day in 1958, she married her sweetheart, Bobby Odom.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glover and Lucille Pierce; brother, Homer Pierce.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bobby Odom; son, Richard Odom (Mari), Mobile, AL; daughter, Lisa Chavez (Michael), Moss Point; four grandchildren, Shephani Campbell, D’Iberville, MS and Sean Odom, Mobile, AL, Christie Robertson, D’Iberville, Michael Chavez, Diamondhead; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Weatherly, Milledgeville, GA and Doris Akers, Indianapolis, IN. Numerous other relatives and friends.
