Sherry W. “Bill” Ferrell, 93, of Damascus, Maryland departed from his daughter Yolanda’s home peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Bill served in the U.S. Navy, and was an active member of the Damascus American Legion Post 171 and the VFW in Mount Airy. Cooking was his passion, and he was good at it.
Surviving are his daughter Yolanda Grimes; son Michael Ferrell and his wife Theresa; daughter-in-law Dottie Ferrell; wife Joyce Ferrell; a step-daughter; two step-sons; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill is preceded in death by his first wife Bernice Ferrell and three sons: Tommy, Bobby and Terry.
