Sherman T. Darling of Denton, MD, died peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was 78 years old.
Born in Federalsburg, MD, Mr. Darling was the son of the late John and Hattie Mae Hurlock Darling. He was a 1957 graduate of the Federalsburg High School. He had many interests such as motorcycles, boating, crabbing, and fishing. He had been a delivery truck driver for several businesses in the mid-shore area, retiring from Eastern Spring Water in 2002.
Mr. Darling is survived by his wife, Frances L. Darling of Denton; three sons: Clay Darling (Susan) of Harmony, Carlton Darling (Tanya) of Federalsburg, and Jarred Darling (Donna) of Federalsburg; one sister, Mary Jewell of Georgetown, DE; and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
