Sheldon R. Hanson passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 19, 2022.
Sheldon was born on May 30, 1965, to Russell and Judy (Penas) Hanson in Roseau, MN. He was the oldest out of six children and grew up out in Benwood and attended school in Greenbush. After school, Sheldon continued to be a great value to the farm where he was at his father’s right hand with any project that arose! He always looked forward to attending local events and the many trips to the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag. Sheldon also enjoyed hunting, helping in the garden, and could be found watching football on Sundays.
Sheldon is survived by his father, Russell; siblings, Sherri (Larry Arnold) Cauble, Shirley Hanson, Sherman Hanson, Shane (Kathy Grahn) Hanson, and Sheddean Hanson; and many of his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy.
