Sheila Louise Morton Harris passed away on April 5, 2018 at the age of 60. She was the beloved wife of Walter Harris of Detroit, MI; She is survived by her daughter, Dana Morton of Hazelwood, MO; three sons, Gary Morton of Columbia, MO, Michael Morton of Detroit, MI, Dion Morton of Hazelwood, MO; eight grandchildren, Gabe, Alexzia, Dominique, Sanje, Gavin, Alisha, Kyle Jr., and Kaine; three sisters, Cheryl Morton of Columbia, MO, Michelle Johnson of O’Fallon, MO, Linda Johnson of Columbia, MO; sister in law, Rose Hunter, of Warrenton, MO, three aunts, Agnes Hill of Wentzville, MO, Dorothy Johnson of Warrenton, MO and Barbara Parker of Phoenix, AZ as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Walter Morton, mother, Isabelle Johnson, brother, Elroy Hunter, brother-in-law, Robert France, brother-in-law, Haymond Harris, sister, Birdie Hasting, sister, Earsie France, sister, Wanda Hunter, sister, Patricia Johnson. Sheila was an avid reader, a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan, she loved sports. an advocate for reading, education and history. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved her friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
