Sharon M. Steiner, 67, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri.
Mrs. Steiner was born in Hermann, Missouri on January 16, 1947, the daughter of Marvin and Dorothy (Hanne) Nolte.
She was the wife of Carl Eugene “Gene” Steiner. They were married September 9, 1978 at Assumption Church, Morrison, Missouri. Carl survives in Jefferson City.
Sharon is also survived by her mother Dorothy Nolte of Morrison, a son Randy Nolte & wife Tina of Morrison, a sister Jeanette Birk & husband Brad of Morrison, her mother-in-law Cecilia Steiner of Gasconade, three grandsons Ryan Nolte & wife Lacy of Linn, Carl “C.J.” Nolte & wife Kristy of Chamois and Hunter Nolte of Morrison, an aunt Dorris Starke of Morrison, a niece Michelle Schulte & husband Tim of Hermann, by brother & sisters-in-law, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father.
Sharon was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Jefferson City, Missouri and the Hermann Eagles Auxiliary. She worked as a clerk at Morrison Hardware & Lumber for 14 years. She also did babysitting after she moved to Jefferson City.
