Seithl L. (Brooks) Hamlett Gilmore, passed away October 30, 2016. Seithl was born May 10, 1925 to Earl J. and Jennie Clara (Phillips) Brooks in Hoxeyville, Michigan. She is survived by her granddaughter, Kerry (Jamie) Fountain of Ionia; two brothers, Al Brooks of Texas and Gaylord Brooks of Ionia; one sister, Bonnie Klingbeil of Ionia; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Michelle Godwin. Seithl was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rodney Hamlett; two sisters, Melvina Darling and Vera Vargason. Seithl was a member of First Christian Church and Women of the Moose Ionia Chapter #478. Per her request there will be no service.
