Surviving are his son, Corey; parents Frederick Schafer and Patricia Schafer; brother, Tony (Juliane) Schafer; sister, Sally (Joseph) Meeker; nephew, Chase Meeker and nieces, Brooke Meeker; grandpa, Leonard (Noddie) Cunningham; many aunts and uncles.
