Santos Cruz 82 of ST. Albans, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico January 2, 1935 and was always proud of his heritage. He spent his childhood in Puerto Rico until he joined the Army and later the Coast Guard. He spent 25 years at the former Montsweag Restaurant where he built friendships that lasted a life time.
He is survived by his wife Doris Cruz; his children; Richard Cruz and his wife Robin; Vincent Cruz and his fiancé Lisa Hale; Carmen Miller; Mary Theriault and her husband Dan; Kristy Cyr and her husband Jason; and Matt Ballew. He cherished his 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was the beloved brother of Angelita Cardenas, Carmen Figueroa Matos, Edwin Figueroa, and Anthony Figueroa.
Santos was a long time resident of Bath, and also spent many years in Lisbon Falls, Yarmouth, Brunswick, and Aiken, South Carolina.
