Mrs. Johnson, 71, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Sandra enjoyed crocheting and fishing, but the hobby she spent most of her time on was taking care of her various plants.
She will be remembered most for being a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Robert “Bobby” Johnson (Jessica), Nancy McCary (Keith), Brenda Currie, and Sarah Bozeman; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Johnson; daughter, Darlene Broadway; parents, Ray and Myrtie Whittley; and siblings, Rachel Apperson, Thelma Morrison, and Danny Whittley.
