Obituary
Samuel “Benny” Turner, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at the age of 62. Loving husband of Carol L. Turner (Keim); beloved son of the late Samuel B. and Wilma L. Turner (Ferguson); cherished father of Corie Lou (Jake) Drullinger, Lucas (Amanda) Turner, Katie West (Matt Friehs), and Kimber West; dear brother of Vonna (Charlie) Mathis of Wentzville, MO, Darlene (Scott) Lauderbach of Grand Island, FL, Patrick Turner (Sheila Rhodes) of Jefferson City, MO; cherished grandfather of Jade Drullinger, Lia Drullinger, Andrea Peasel, and Will Kennon; cherished great-grandfather of Oliver Ramey; and loving uncle of numerous nieces, nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Timothy Turner formerly of Hammond, LA. He loved being with his “bride” Carol. He loved his precious dogs; Beau and Jaxson. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, camping, partying, and hanging out with friends. Benny always had a bright smile and a quick wit about him, he never met a stranger and enjoyed living life. He lived every day to the fullest and left an impression wherever he went. Our hope is everyone will smile when someone speaks his name. That is how Benny would want to be remembered. Only laughter, not tears, only love, not sadness, only time separates us but the love lives forever.
