Sally Joan Biedscheid, age 80, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato, MN.
Sally was born May 3, 1942 in Mankato, MN to Walter and Cora (Zarth) Prange. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mankato. After confirmation she taught Sunday School for several years. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1960 and attended Mankato Commercial College. On October 12, 1963 She married Gary Biedscheid. She worked at Kayot for several years doing upholstery work and was office manager at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, for 17 years. After, she worked at Capstone in the editorial department and call center until she retired.
Sally loved to travel with her sisters. She also liked bowling, ceramics, and snowmobiling in the early years. Later on she enjoyed mystery tours, being a member of the Red Hat Society, line dancing, reading, thrifting, and playing cards. Sally’s favorite memories were times spent with family and friends.
Sally is survived by her son, Brook (Michelle) Biedscheid of Mankato; daughter, Carla (Doug) Sellner of Courtland, MN; grandchildren, Christian Schultz (Kylie Schlegel), Tanner Schultz (Seanna Zwaschka), Ashlyn Schultz (Matt Eversman) and Anna Biedscheid (Nathan Ruel); great grandchildren, Parker Schultz, Xavier Schultz and Levi Eversman; sisters, Bev Watson and Betty Bursheim; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary, and her sister Carol Stinchcomb.
