Ruth Miller

Ruth Miller, age 91, went to be with our Lord on July 27, 2014. Born November 22, 1922 in Pike County, KY, she was a former resident of Lansing and Portland, MI. She retired from the State of Michigan Department of Treasury in 1984. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portland. Ruth enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, and sewing. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. Surviving are her two daughters, Deborah J. Niklas of Lansing, MI and Ann Alessi of Oxford, PA. Also surviving are GRANDCHILDREN Heather (Alex) Terwilliger, Amanda (Wes) Anderson, Bradley D. Niklas, Amy (Tom) Hunter, Debra (Bob) Wolf, Dale (Jennifer) Hull, Sarah Hull, Mario Ramey, Lucinda (Matt) Crawford, and RoseAnn Ramey. She has 12 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN and 8 GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Franklin Miller, her husband, Brooks Miller, her daughter, Rita J. Ruter, her sons, Paul W. Ramey and Robert D. Ramey, her granddaughter, Robin D. Wright, her two sisters, and her brother.
