Ruth Marie Bader, age 75, of Big Spring, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann, Missouri.
Mrs. Bader was born in St. Charles, Missouri on September 13, 1939, the daughter of Adolph and Elizabeth (nee Schulte) Boschert.
She was the wife of Marvin Bader. They were married November 27, 1958 at St. Peter’s Church, St. Charles, MO.
Ruth is survived by her eight children; daughter Irene Lewis (Bill) of Hermann, daughter Beverly Bader of Big Spring, daughter Anita Van Booven (Joe) of Rhineland, son Marvin Joe Bader (Katherine) of Rhineland, daughter Linda Van Booven (John) of Hermann, daughter Brenda Van Booven (Dave) of Rhineland, son Alfred Bader (Brenda) of Hermann, son William Bader (Susanne) of Big Spring. Ruth is also survived by seven brothers and sisters; sister Mary Jane Schroeder (Orville) of St. Peters, brother Allen Boschert (Carol) of St. Paul, sister Shirley Smith (George) of St. Charles, brother Claude Boschert (Nancy) of St. Charles, brother Richard Boschert (Alice) of St. Charles, sister Kathy Coleman (Rick) of St. Charles and sister Sharon Wulf (Rich) of St. Charles. She is survived by two sister-in-laws Helen Rothermich of Auxvasse, and Henrietta Bader of Rhineland, 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandson Austin VanBooven, brother-in-laws Wilford Rothermich and Oscar Bader.
Ruth was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior Parish, St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Big Spring Fire Department Auxiliary, and she was a 4-H Club Leader.
Ruth enjoyed quilting, cooking, playing cards, especially pinochle, and playing board games with her grandchildren.
