Ruth was a long-time member of the Portland United Methodist Church and worked for many years at the Portland District Library. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles C. Callihan; and grandson, Ian J. Render. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Janice (Herb) Mosser of Portland, Anne (James) Render of Perrysburg, OH, and Lois (Charles) Whittaker of Grand Ledge; son, Douglas (Louise) Callihan of Gig Harbor, WA; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
