Rev. Ruth Diane Hogan, 55, of Steelville, MO passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born February 23, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to Clyde Hanks and Margie (Plemmons) Hanks Pemberton. On December 17, 1976 she was united in marriage to Richard Hogan in Steelville, MO and to this union two children were born.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Hogan of Steelville, MO; one son, Richard Dewayne Hogan and wife Kristen of Steelville, MO; one daughter, Lisa Diane Frisk and husband Josh of Houston, TX; step-father, Don Pemberton of Troy, MO; grandmother, Ann Hanks of Arnold, MO; one brother Randy Hanks and wife Tanya of Council Bluff, IA; one sister, Tammy Miller and husband Kurt of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren, Codey Frisk, Skyler Frisk, Damon Frisk, Jessica Hogan, Kayle Hogan, Katelyn Hogan, Jordan Hogan and Bradley Hogan; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruth was well known as a minister of the Pentecostal faith. She worked as a nurse in the community for a number of years.
She enjoyed fishing where she could have a quietness with the Lord and she loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren.
