Ruby Atchison of St. James passed away Saturday December 29, 2012, in Salem, at her daughters home. She was 89 years of age.
Ruby Atchison was born March 22, 1923 at Newburg, Mo., the daughter of the late Floyd Edward and Ruth Ellen (Decker) Smith.
On September 3, 1940, at the Newburg Christian Church, Ruby was united in marriage to William Atchison. He entered into rest on January 1975.
Ruby Atchison is survived by one daughter; Sandra Louise Greenwood and husband Randal of Salem., along with two sisters: Betty Sue Simpson of Ballwin, Mo., and Peggy Brookshire of Walla Walla, Washington and 16 very special grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Ruby Atchison is preceaded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years, two sons: Bill Jr. who passed away in 1972, and John Robert Atchison who passed away in 2011, and one daughter Judy Ellen Campbell who also passed away in 2011.
