Mr. Greenhoe was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, where he received a Purple Heart, and was a life member of the Lyons V.F.W. Post #4646. He retired from the State Department of Mental Health. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, LaVern Greenhoe; sister, Velma Cyphers. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Ruby Greenhoe of Ionia; 3 children, Terri (Greg) Way of LeRoy, Texas, Ryan Greenhoe of Ionia, and Steven Greenhoe of Grand Rapids; 2 grandchildren, Pam Meyers and Landon Greenhoe; 3 great grandchildren, Jessica, Tyffani and D.J.; sister-in-law, Elaine Greenhoe of Ionia; several nieces and nephews.
