Roy Paul Behrendt, 85, of Morrison, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Capitol Region Medical Center, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Mr. Behrendt was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 30, 1925, the son of the late Paul & Freda (Mengersen) Behrendt.
He was the husband of Margaret Clara (Mehrhoff) Behrendt. They were married on February 2, 1952 at St. Liborious Church, St. Louis, Missouri, she survives in Morrison, Missouri.
Roy is also survived by a sister Lois C. Vogt of Vienna, Missouri, a brother-in-law Harry Mehrhoff & wife Fern of St. Peters, Missouri, by a niece Kathleen J. Semler & husband Douglas of Bonner Springs, Kansas, two nephews Clay R. Vogt & wife Tina of Vienna and William S. Vogt & wife Susan of Owensville, Missouri and also by great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Assumption Church, Morrison, Missouri. He worked at Anheuser Busch Brewery in St. Louis and also did farming in the Morrison area. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
