Passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2015 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, the love of his life and various mostly drunken family members and friends (reviled by some, but loved by most). He had a good life and will be greatly missed with much laughter. Roy served in the U.S. Army from 8/11/1947 to 10/1/1969. He served in the Far East for most of his career including 2 tours in Korea, 2 in Japan (including Okinawa) and a tour in Hawaii. Upon leaving the Army he remained in California until May of 1991 when he returned to Michigan for a 2 week vacation and we’ve happily enjoyed him since.
