Rosella “Rose” B. Bailey, nee Midyett, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. She was born August 10, 1929 in Viburnum to Corby Lawrence Midyett and Dora Ann Medley Midyett. On August 5, 1949 in Salem, AR, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Bailey and to this union three sons were born.
Rose attended the United Baptist Church outside Steelville.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three sons, Bruce Bailey and wife Joyce of Cuba, MO, Rick Bailey and wife Trina and Tim Bailey all of Steelville, MO; seven grandchildren, Marcia Fields, Tonya Elliott and husband Bobby, Luke Bailey, Benjamin Bailey and wife Tiffany, Rusty Bailey and wife Leslie, Adam Bailey and wife Amber and Sammi Lehto and husband Josh; nine great-grandchildren, Alex, Peyton, Emma, Austin, Baylee, Curtis, Jacob, Katie, Jayden and very soon little Grace; one sister, Tessie Head and husband Gus of Steelville, MO; one brother in-law, Albert Bailey and wife Mary of Maplewood, MO; three special nephews, Gary Midyett and wife Donna, Jerry Midgett and wife Pam and Jerry Head; special niece Lisa Walker; other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tom; siblings, Cecil Midyett, Velma Bailey, Gladyne Neuman, Lloyd Midyett and Carol McMillan.
The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Luke Bailey, Ben Bailey, Rusty Bailey, Adam Bailey, Kevin Midgett, Gary Lynn Midyett, Joey Midgett and Bryan Midgett with honorary casket bearers, Bobby Elliott, Josh Lehto and Joey Larrison.
