Age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009. She was born on May 8, 1923 in Westphalia, MI the daughter of Robert and Anna (Gensterblum) Belen. On June 20, 1940 she married Samuel L. Marvin. Her entire life was devoted to her family. She loved gardening and cooking. Rose was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband,Samuel; son, Stephen; granddaughter, Ashleigh Zimmer and six siblings. She is survived by her children, Elaine (Lee) Riley of Roscommon, Mary Ellen Marvin, Jane (Ron) Conley, Patrick (Teresa) Marvin, Ann E. (Bruce) Zimmer all of Portland and Eric Marvin of Kalamazoo; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Marvin of Laingsburg; sister Bonnie (Ted) Rademacher of Westphalia; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
