BERKLEY – Rose (Cambra) Frizado, wife of the late Manuel Frizado, Jr. died at her Berkley home on Feb. 28, 2011.
She was 102.
Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Silva) Cambra, Sr.
Mrs. Frizado was raised and educated in Dighton and moved to Berkley in 1962.
A retired order checker, she was employed by the former Rennie Curtain Factory for eighteen years until 1974.
She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton.
Mrs. Frizado enjoyed cooking and housekeeping; and crocheting in her spare time.
Survivors include her son, Ronald D. Frizado and his wife Linda of Berkley; her daughter, Eileen C. Vanada and her husband Donald of Berkley, her beloved pug, Buddy; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Manuel R. Frizado, and the sister of the late Frank Cambra, Joseph Cambra, Jr., Mary Medeiros, and Constance Corey.
