Brunswick – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose-Anne D. Pinette on 12/16/16 at Midcoast Senior Healthcare Center, Brunswick.  She was born on August 5, 1933 the daughter of Irene (Helie) and Ovila Martin on Mason St., Brunswick.

Rose-Anne attended elementary school in Brusnwick and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Jackman, Maine.  She married her hometown sweetheart, Jacques R. Pinette and together they ran a very successful Mom-and-Pop dry cleaning business, Parkview Cleaners, on upper Maine St. for over 30 years.  She was an accomplished seamstress – there was not a zipper in town she could not replace.  Her warm smile and blue eyes made all who met her feel right at home.  Later, she would be found hard at work at the former Thibeault Energy and retired at the age of 79 from Downeast Energy, a very dedicated personable employee.

Her proudest accomplishment was her home and family.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Jacques “Jack” Pinette in 2004 and grandson, Matthew J. Herrick in 2009.

Surviving family include her sisters, Anges Maynard and Sue (Dennis) Toothaker from the Brunswick area, brothers, Roland “Joe” (Raye Love) Martin and Evariste “Marty” (Linda Labelle) Martin both in the North Carolina area.  Her children (A,B,C and D) are daughters, Ann May and partner Reggie Gammon of Auburn, Barbara and Scott Bruce of Freeport, Cindy and Dana Herrick of Harpswell, and son, Daniel Pinette and partner Mary Heald of Litchfield.

Grandchildren include, Travis and Thomas May, Elizabeth Hole and Timothy Potter, Matthew and Dana C. Herrick, Nathan and Ian Pinette, and Lauren Tuttle.  Her great-grandchildren, are Chenery May, Christopher and Jonathan Hole, Frances, Emma and Oliver Herrick, and Emmalee Potter.

Special life-long friends, Claircy Bernier and Therese Doiron both of Brunswick, and Suzanne Begin of St. Gedeon, Quebec were always in her thoughts.

We wish to express our deep appreciation to MCH Senior Healthcare, especially The Garden, CHANS and Hospice.  You were all incredible.  Thank You!
