Woolwich- Rosanne “Rosi” Belanger, 68, of East Hedge Road passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner.
She was born in Damariscotta on September 19, 1954, the only daughter of Raymond and Ruth Belanger.
She attended Woolwich schools and Morse High School in Bath. She was employed in many different jobs including Arrow-Hart in Brunswick and many years at Reny’s in Bath. For several years she was employed by Elmhurst in Bath as a direct support professional.
Rosi was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bath and the Rumford Eagle’s Auxiliary in Rumford.
She enjoyed taking trips along the coast looking at lighthouses and collecting stuffed turtles and bears. She also raised two wolves.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Raymond and Ronald, and a son Adam.
She is survived by her longtime companion, John J. Ridge of Woolwich, two sons, Jonathon LaRose of Florida and Thomas LaRose and his girlfriend, Melissa Peccaro of West Gardiner, a brother, Richard Belanger, and his wife Linda of West Bath, six grandchildren, Victoria LaRose, Allison LaRose, Caleb LaRose, Joshua LaRose, Dillon Reese, and Avery LaRose all of Bath along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Care Center for their loving support and care of Rosi. It was great to see her always smiling and well cared for.
