Age 87, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006. She was born on April 4, 1918 in Ionia County, MI the daughter of Bernard and Olivia (Fox) Meyers. Mrs. Bozung was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and was involved with the Ministry of Caring. Rosaleen led by example and her devout Catholic faith was very important to her, as was education, as she participated in many of her children’s school activities. She was an avid reader and letter writer, enjoyed all kinds of needlework, was very generous to several charities and was very devoted to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; daughter, Mary Bozung; 4 brothers; 2 sisters. Surviving are her children, Jerry (Jan) Bozung of Portland, Betty Holoway of Lansing, Joseph (Paula) Bozung of Georgia, Margaret (James) Mays of Lansing, Richard Bozung of Lansing, Laurie Bozung of Lansing, Christine Bozung of Grand Haven and Patricia Bozung of Lansing; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Germaine (Bill) Shattuck of Portland and Estell Cusack of Lake Odessa; sister-in-laws, Viola Meyers of Westphalia and Virginia Meyers of Portland.
