Ronnie Joe Little Passed away on February 14, 2022 at his home in Gautier.
Ronnie was born November 1, 1953 in Magee, MS to Elery and Willene Little. Ronnie was a hardworking
man, always a provider for his family. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a rigger for over 30 years and became a certified private pilot in the 80’s.
Ronnie’s Passion was Susan. They met at church and it was love at first sight. They were married on June 21, 1974. From the moment of I do it became his mission to do whatever Susan wanted. He cooked, he cleaned, he catered to her, treating her as his queen. It is not a coincidence that he was found on Valentines Day three years after her death. Some say it was his weak heart that took him. However, we think it was from a broken heart. After her death he lost his purpose and reason for living. We are saddened that we have lost our dad but happy that he is reunited with our mom.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by the love of his life, Susan Jones Little siblings, Dorothy Bowen and William Little.
He is survived by two children, Jonathan Little and his wife Serena and Roneece Nelson and her husband, Todd all of Lucedale, MS; grandchildren, Kylene, Baylee, Jonathan “Man Man”, Laker and Brenna; great-grandchildren, Kendelyn and Ella; and numerous other relatives and friends.
