Age 78, went home to be with his Savior on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born on November 13, 1935 in Ionia, MI the son of Gerald and Leona (Bennett) Johnston. Mr. Johnston was the owner and operator of Tony’s Crystal Flash in Ionia for 30 years, and kept it a close family operation over that time. After retirement, he drove for Dial-A-Ride for 12 years. Ronald took pride in his service to the Lord, and served in various positions as a Sunday school teacher, music teacher and Deacon. He loved to play his guitar and sing, fishing, and watching the Detroit Tigers on television.
